NeuLion Licenses DivX® CE SDK to MediaTek for 4K Chipsets

Latest IC Manufacturer to Enable Premium Live Streaming Services on UHD Devices

PLAINVIEW, NY–(Marketwired – January 06, 2016) – NeuLion, Inc. (TSX: NLN), a leading technology product and service provider specializing in the broadcasting, distribution and monetization of live and on-demand digital video content to Internet-enabled devices, today announced that MediaTek Inc. has licensed NeuLion’s DivX® CE SDK for its new line of chipsets for DTV and DVD/Blu-ray devices.

NeuLion’s DivX consumer electronics technology helps chipmakers enable devices that support 4K live streaming powered by the NeuLion® Digital Platform. The SDK implements the MPEG-DASH standard with additional features for high action sports and enhanced security for video up to 4K. Devices built on MediaTek’s latest chips will undergo rigorous testing to ensure the outstanding experience with NeuLion’s popular over-the-top (OTT) services.
